The ideal candidate should have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics.Responsibilities:Manage and motivate staffEnsure compliance with company policies and proceduresPrioritize safety across all areasMonitor and manage warehouse transport risksEnsure vehicles are maintained, roadworthy, and properly signedOversee warehouses, raw material, and finished product stock on both sitesManage stock cycle counts and quarterly audited stock takesEnsure standardization of systems and proceduresOversee stock returns and adherence to POD and COD invoice processesEnsure adherence to ISO9000 and ISO14001 policies and proceduresControl costs and highlight variancesMaintain monthly forecasting of warehouse costs and transport usagePrepare and present regular reports on warehouse and transport operationsParticipate in the cross-functional transport committeeRequirements:Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.10+ years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain5+ years in a supervisory roleStrong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.Familiarity with health and safety regulations.Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing move.
