Shipping Coordinator Mr Price Group

Mr Price Logistics has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, highly organized, and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join their Shipping team. The successful individual will process import shipping files and foreign payments in accordance with SOPs, manage the shipping critical path to ensure on-time deliveries, and maintain positive supplier relations.Key ResponsibilitiesOpen shipping files, print, and perform quality control checks on all commercial documentation.Facilitate import processing, ensuring compliance with statutory bodies SARS & SARB.Build effective working relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance and SLA understanding.Work closely with work stream leaders to ensure all KPIs are achieved.Ensure all noncompliance occurrences are recorded with short and long-term solutions implemented.Ensure suppliers are paid within agreed timelines using REIM Oracle application systems.Establish letters of credit within the agreed timelines informed by the proforma invoice.Manage 3PL accounts per division and ensure payments are timely and current to avoid any interest charges.Process all credit notes within agreed timelines.Ensure all payment-related documents are available electronically.Ensure all payment-related queries are resolved within agreed timelines.Minimum RequirementsGrade 12/NQF41-2 years' experienceMicrosoft Office proficiency.Business understanding of import procedures & regulations.Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly pressurized environment and meet deadlines.
