Senior Storeman (JB4575)R20 000 - R25 000 per month CTCNew Germany, Durban, KwaZulu Natal PermanentA leading provider of automated cash management and payment solutions within the retail community is looking for an experienced senior storeman to join their team.As the senior storeman your purpose is to actively engage, oversee, and maintain accurate stock levels in line with production schedules while maintaining the quality, safety, and productivity of store staffMinimum Requirements:Matric2+ years of store/ warehouse experienceExperience in a leadership positionStocktake experienceMS ProficientDuties:Overseeing store staff and assigning and supervising daily tasks.Ensuring staff conduct daily cycle counts, checking and resolving queries, and informing inventory managerBeing well organized and focused on service delivery.Generating delivery notes against the relevant accountsEnsuring all stock is stored according to the SAP part no.Always maintaining effective stock control.Liaising with management to ensure minimum and maximum stock thresholds are always maintained – including buffer stock and additional spares for refurbishment.Preparing stores for bi-annual stock take and supervising the stock take process.Collating all stock-take results and forwarding them to the inventory manager for checking.Always following the FIFO system.Always ensure good housekeeping and address housekeeping reports issued by the inventory manager.Reporting any shortages or low stock levels to the buyer and inventory manager.Ensuring that Health and Safety rules are adhered to.Ensuring store staff capture, pack, and store stock correctly and timeously.Ensuring all paperwork is captured correctly and timeously onto the system.Liaising with the quality department regarding non-conformances affecting stock itemsWorking unsupervised and meeting set deadlinesEnsuring procedures are updated and followed by store staffAttending weekly store meetingsPlease do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.IMPORTANT: We specialize in specific niche fields.
