Purpose Monitor all security printing products entering and leaving the South African Bank Note Company (SABN). Implement the strategic initiatives for Logistics Department in respect of inbound and outbound logistics, product control, product security, waste disposal, material demand control and warehousing to ensure availability of materials and consumables. Main Responsibilities (not limited to):Monitors progress to ensure successful implementation of plans and report to the HOD where risks are identified.For consignment and product security ensure the oversight and implementation of advanced tracking systems and to maintain such a system of control.Support with the independent assurance on the control of securitised products, conduct product security risk assessments, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implementation of recommendations from the integrated report findings.Take responsibility for day to day Logistics operations.Ensure that stock balances and is accounted for at the end of every shift.Ensure that all control and dual control systems are implemented and monitored.Responsible for the running of the waste management system.Ensures production waste balancing and waste removal processes are designed to ensure product security is maintained and waste removal is done on time. Ensures waste notes are accounted for at all times.Ensures effective product control systems are in place and effective.Responsible for the availability and deployment of staff at all times.Ensures that employees have clear work expectations and goals.Ensures training and development of staff. The Preferred Candidate is likely to have:B Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain ManagementMinimum of 5 - 8 years' experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management of which 3 years in Management role with relevant experience in Product Security or Cash in Transit Environment.
