We are seeking an experienced DB2 Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our DB2 database systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DB2 database management, performance tuning, and problem resolution. Key Responsibilities: Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain DB2 databases. Ensure database availability, performance, and security. Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. Backup & Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies. Perform regular backups and restore as needed. Security: Enforce and maintain database security policies. Manage user roles and permissions. Support & Maintenance: Provide technical support for database-related issues. Apply patches and updates as necessary. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for database configurations, procedures, and best practices. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 4 Years of experience Proven experience as a DB2 Database Administrator. Strong knowledge of DB2 database architecture and administration. Experience with SQL and performance tuning techniques. Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
