More about the opportunity:Proudly South African FMCG group requires the expertise of a Senior Quality Manager focused on Food Safety to oversee all aspects of Quality Management across their factories and Distribution Centres.
This is a senior-level role within the organization and reports to the COO and General Managers.
This organization is known for its staff tenure and with recent expansion its team is growing.
Responsibilities: Ensuring that all requirements for FSSC 22000 and other relevant Food Safety Management Systems are met.Work closely with Quality Managers on auditsOversee SOP's and policiesEnsure alignment between the Quality Department and stakeholdersProduction and Operations meetingsOpportunity to visit sites across South Africa every month Requirements: Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences or a related field5-10 years' experience in senior quality control rolesExperience in the food manufacturing or production environment (FMCG)3-5 years' in a management capacity overseeing staff and operationsExpert in food safety systems and auditsStrong business acumen and ability to engage in a teamAn Independent and people-centric person would be ideal Apply now!
