Quality Assurance Manager - Spice / Meat Processing

Minimum requirements for the role:Previous experience having worked in a quality assurance manager or related role within the food manufacturing industry is essential for the role.Previous experience having worked as a Quality Assurance Manager or a related role having implemented FSSC 22000 version 6 quality systems and worked with HACCP within the food manufacturing industry is essential.The successful candidate must be able to run and pass an audit on their own.Previous experience having worked within the spice / chicken / poultry / meat processing industry is preferred.The successful candidate must be computer literate with good Excel experience.The successful candidate must be able to guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate processes are being used.Must be able to develop relationships with senior management and staff within the company.Must have strong problem-solving skills and collaborative approach when working with internal and overseas employees and senior management.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Implementing, driving and overseeing the implementation and maintenance of FSSC version 6 best practice quality standards and systems as well as HACCP within their food manufacturing plant.Leading and driving the quality improvement program and analysing, reviewing, reporting customer feedback, driving continuous improvement.Implementing and monitoring supplier performance and driving continuous improvement for strategic suppliers.Ensuring process capability and driving improvement/optimization.Driving quality loss reduction projects and attending to clients customer complaints.Handling Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMP) and conducting internal audits and product testing.Maintaining the entire online quality and food safety system.
Ensuring all products are Halaal approved and ensuring all COAs are completed accurately and timeously.Ensuring all raw materials, finished products and packaging specifications are created and uploaded onto the company system.Initiating and driving quality improvement projects and supporting trials.Developing and delivering quality training and coaching.Driving quality culture-building activities and participating in the business unit and group community of practices.
