VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENTNexia SAB&T seeks to appoint a dynamic individual on a fixed-term contract in Pretoria to fill the following position:Assistant Director: Demand Planning(REF: //3)Job Purpose:To provide provincial and national customers with a demand forecast and the cash up thereof, on a short, medium, and long-term basis so that business decisions can be made and to support the health product value chain planning requirements and in so doing improving medicine availability.Responsibilities & Duties:Data preparation, analysis, and interpretationConduct data acquisition and data governanceCleanse the data acquired from Provincial and/or National medicine procurement systemsEngage with Provincial stakeholders to validate the data acquiredSegment and analyze data – ABC analysis, VEN (Vital, Essential Necessary), and CV (Co-efficient of Variation)Qualification, Skills, Competencies & Experience:A minimum qualification of a three-year bachelor's degree/national diploma or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or equivalentAn orientation towards the quantitative disciplines in statistics and economics would be advantageousAt least three years' experience in Demand and/or Supply Planning in a public or private sectorExposure to the pharmaceutical industry is desirableGeneral Supply Chain Management knowledgeEnergetic, adaptable, and pragmatic.Please apply for this position at the following link:Please ensure that your application is accompanied by a certified copy of your ID, a copy of your comprehensive CV, demonstrating your competencies in the above areas, a minimum of three contactable references as well as certified proof of your qualification in the specified field of expertise.Applicants who do not receive a response within 6 weeks of the closing date must regard their response as unsuccessful, as communication would only be conducted with shortlisted candidates.
