Workshop Manager

Reporting directly to MD, responsible for the management and maintenance of construction/engineering equipment yard/workshop, plant earthmoving vehicles, and spares.Responsible for the upkeep of an on-site guest house.Reportees: 2 x on-site mechanics - repairs and maintenance of equipment.Manage security team x 4 (day shift and night shift) and 1 x Admin lady – handles purchasing for the site, site deliveries, coordinating drivers, route planning, etc.3 x drivers.Requirements:Previous workshop/mechanic and yard management experience.Mechanical background/acumen – knowledge of engines to assist mechanics.Strong management skills – assertive, ensure reportees are attending to their duties.Must be computer literate, experience with an MMS system (Materials Management system) – job cards, pull reports, etc.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting
