Job Purpose:The Food and Beverage Manager is pivotal in setting the strategic direction and annual plans for the Food and Beverage operations at our luxury 5 Star Hotel. This role ensures that our Food and Beverage services are of exceptional quality, offering outstanding, safe, and personalized experiences for our guests. Collaborating with senior leadership, the Food and Beverage Manager will develop and implement policies, processes, and standards to achieve these goals, while also overseeing budgets, manning needs, and CAPEX requirements.Qualifications and Experience:Essential:Bachelor's degree or diploma in hotel management, Food and Beverage, or related field.5 years of experience in a luxury Food and Beverage leadership role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Desired:Formal qualification in Food Safety (HACCP or equivalent).More than 5 years of experience in a similar role.Proficient in digital communication tools and Food and Beverage specific software.Key Competencies:Process Excellence and Service DeliverySustainable Quality and Attention to DetailInnovation for ResultsInitiative and Change AgentTeamwork and CollaborationManaging Uncertainty and AdaptabilityKey Performance Indicators:General Responsibilities:Develop and implement high-quality service standards.Respond promptly to guest needs.Provide guidance to Food and Beverage teams.Coordinate annual plans, budgets, and staffing.Select suitable suppliers and ensure compliance with safety standards.Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and contractors.Customer Specific Responsibilities:Deliver impeccable customer service consistently.Prepare regular performance reports.People Specific Responsibilities:Lead the Food and Beverage leadership team.Foster a culture of service excellence.Provide ongoing training and performance feedback.Quality Specific Responsibilities:Collaborate with the quality team to develop and monitor food safety and service standards.Ensure consistent product and service quality.Finance Specific Responsibilities:Prepare and manage the annual budget.Monitor expenses and improve financial performance.Facilities:Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all relevant areas.Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.Legal and Compliance Specific Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.Maintain food safety practices.Additional Duties:Perform other tasks as assigned by managementDrostdy Hotel and Valor Hospitality Partners are equal opportunity employers.
