Hotel Duty Manager

The Hotel Duty Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel and addressing any issues that arise during your shift.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction, while effectively managing the hotel staff and resources.
You should possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to handle emergencies and resolve conflicts appropriately.
As the point of contact for guest relations, your goal is to create a welcoming and memorable experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring that all departments are meeting the hotel's service standards.
Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Supervise and manage the performance of the front office staff while coordinating with other departments for smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
Assist in staff training and development to maintain high operational standards.
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure maintenance and cleanliness standards are met.
Handle emergency situations and staff issues, ensuring the hotel safety protocols are followed.
Maintain accurate records of occupancy, revenue, and staffing levels.
Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes.
Requirements Previous experience as a Duty Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of hotel management operations and customer service best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or relevant field preferred.
Professional attitude and appearance.
