Treasury Trader

One of our JSE listed clients seeks a Treasury Dealer Support to join their team. This role will work closely with the Treasury Manager and facilitate the group of companies' financial markets requests to the treasury team. The role calls for someone who holds their RE5, has worked as and is an FSCA registered representative and no longer under supervision and registered for Cat1 products. This is essential to this front office treasury support role. This is a permanent half-day position based in Cape Town, with flexibility to be a hybrid / potentially fully remote opportunity.
Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with financial institutionsDaily liaison with financial institutions, enabling companies to buy / sell / invest in financial products to the advantage of the businessDaily transactions administrationDaily and monthly market data distributionTreasury system inputs, interest recons and reportingAssist with FICA process
