The position will be based in the Bloemfontein offices.Job DescriptionProcess payments and financial journalsPerform reconciliationsHandle debtors accountsMonth end interest verificationBroker and agency accesses and onboardingRequest changes on details of agencies and brokersHandle financial system queriesSupport to Agri personnelFinance Administrative dutiesHandle and follow-up of enquiries - telephonic and on email.Duties And ResponsibilitiesAdministration of mandates and regions.Administration and monitoring of payment agreements/contract for premium outstanding.Handling of long outstanding debtors accounts.Responsible for payment of legal fees.Execute ongoing system testing.Assist with system queries.Responsible for logging Finance system related incidents.Verifying the FSP status of brokers.Professional Indemnity confirmation and checks.Ensuring that all agencies have the applicable mandates on the underwriting system.Responsible for the registration and onboarding of brokers and agencies.Request changes details of agencies and brokers.Responsible for broker and agency accesses.Capture expenses for the AGRI business.Validation of payment made for the business.Capture reimbursement of Agri staff.Performing reconciliations.Compile financial reports.Addressing queries and requests from internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications And ExperienceFinance degree.2-3 years' experience in Finance or Auditing.Knowledge And SkillsComputer literacy (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Logical thinker and strong problem-solving abilities.Strong relationship building.Adaptable to new systems.Accountability and responsibility.Ability to deal with enquiries swiftly and correctly.COMPETENCIESProfessional behaviour.Commitment to quality.Teamwork.Resilience.Studiously.Team player.Immaculate interpersonal skills.Ability to perform tasks under pressure.Attention to detail / accuracy.About The CompanySantam is the market leader in the general insurance industry in Southern Africa.
