Transport Controller

Tasks
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Manage and monitor the performance of drivers, vehicles, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate vehicle maintenance and compliance with safety regulations.
Plan optimal routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle performance.
Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Requirements
Requirements:

Grade 12/Matric certificate; a logistics or transportation qualification is an advantage.
Previous experience in transport or fleet management.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and route planning tools.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
