Are you someone who can: Build performant, scalable & maintainable Backend Services and APIs as the next Senior Java Backend Developer sought by a rapidly growing FinTech company.Collaborate in a team where you will work on multiple products with a modern tech stack, and on projects involving multiple team members in a dynamic environment.Voice an opinion on how to do things better, in both the code base, and in daily workflows and processes.Develop secure Backend services and APIs to support new features and further enhancements.You will be an ideal candidate if you can: Understand product requirements and translating them to robust technical solutions.Contribute to overall solution architecture.Work and collaborate with the rest of the Engineering team, including QA, BA, UX Designers, Architects, SA and Product Owners.Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.Keep improving the code base as you go along and refactor things for the better.Diagnose and fix bugs and performance issues.You will have access to: Opportunities to network and collaborate.A challenging working environment.Opportunities to innovate.Work with AWS (cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, container orchestration).We can be a match if you have: Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science or similar technical discipline.5+ years of Java experience and skills in Spring Boot, SQL, PostgreSQL or Sql Server, Redis, MVC & Git.Experience building and maintaining APIs using Spring Boot, connecting to various SQL and NoSQL databases (ideally PostgreSQL and Redis).Experience building server-side generated web applications using templating engines (such as Thymeleaf).The ability to write well-documented, clean code.Hands-on experience in team programming projects, preferably using Git or other source control systems.Apply now if you are interested in taking the next step.
