Qualification Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Certification Project and Operations Requirements Minimum 5 years' Service Management experience, knowledge of industry standards within refrigeration / facilities management, compliance requirements, best practice, cost management and performance analysis Managing a team of Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Artisans and Electricians Computerized Maintenance Management System Must have good knowledge and experience in Health & Safety, Building Codes, Quality Inspections, Hazard & Risk Assessments Understanding of contract negotiation/management techniques, subcontractors relationship management, excellent communication skills Advanced knowledge of/ability to use: CMMS and/or CAFM systems, business communication systems, business programs for word processing, spreadsheet development, and presentation development, function-specific systems such as project management tools. Duties Managing the technical staff, composed of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled technicians and labourers Planning and delivering scheduled maintenance works and responding to breakdowns Managing budgets and maintaining statistical and financial records Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation Manages project resources accordingly within a budget(s) Negotiates contracts with new vendors and suppliers Implements proactive risk management plans and assists in developing long-term contingency plans Provide incident report and technical faults root cause Effectively schedule the work of others to complete operations, programs, or activities Report any defective materials in a timely manner in order to avoid any disruption in the delivery of services Conduct inspections of all areas ensuring upkeep of good hygiene standards
