Our client is a dynamic FMCG company that operates nationally in the meat industry, focusing on the wholesale distribution of fresh and frozen meat products across South Africa. Their operations include their own fleet and logistics, abattoir facilities, and an established retail outlet. Currently they have a opportunity for a Technical Manager to join their team in Klerksdorp, North West.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and plan all maintenance and preventative maintenance activities.Manage expansion and large maintenance projects, including fleet, chiller maintenance, and cold storage.Ensure the efficiency and reliability of all technical operations.Supervise and lead a teamDevelop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols.Monitor equipment performance and coordinate repairs or upgrades as needed.Maintain safety standards and compliance with regulations.Liaise with other departments to support overall operational goals.Job Requirements: Education: BSc / BEng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Experience: 5 – 10 years of experience in relevant fields.Skills: Proven experience in Maintenance, Cold Storage, and Fleet Management.What They Offer: Opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.Involvement in exciting projects that impact the company's growth and efficiency.If you are a highly motivated and experienced professional looking for a challenging role in the FMCG industry, we encourage you to apply.
