Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the team while delivering superior customer service.Grow and maintain our customer base through partnerships, proactively maintaining policy records, and cross-selling customers through value-adding service and products.Make pricing and refund decisions where required.Adhere to business procedures, audit requirements, regulatory requirements, and legislative requirements.Create new processes within an operational environment in terms of agreed human performance principles.Provide a leading/best practice service and administrative operation for the SBIB product portfolio.Report on all activities within the respective environment.Utilize available technologies to enhance efficiency.Ensure the area meets its targets, budgets, and KRAs.Effectively plan and monitor all operational requirements.Contribute to the overall achievement of team and organizational goals and strategies.Minimize PI. Ops losses by creating awareness and carrying out rectification actions.Provide clear purpose and direction through daily/weekly connect sessions following the Connect Methodology.Adhere to the Standard Bank Performance Management process and procedure.Handle all operational issues immediately to minimize risk and escalations.Qualifications: Completed MatricFAIS – RENQF 5 Qualification, recognized by the FSBFAIS Qualification – 150 credits in respective long-term categoriesExperience: 3-4 years in a Team Leader Role.3 years' experience in the Long-Term / Short-term / Insurance Industry (must be FAIS Compliant).
