Stock Management Administrator

Area/Location: KrugersdorpJob Purpose:We are seeking a highly organized Stock Management Administrator to oversee and optimize our inventory control processes. In this role, you will be responsible for managing stock levels, processing orders, performing regular stock audits, and ensuring accurate records are maintained to prevent stock discrepancies.Key Responsibilities:Stock Control: Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring timely reordering of products based on sales trends and stock requirements.Inventory Management: Assist in the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of stock. Ensure stock is properly labelled and stored in correct locations.Stock Audits: Perform regular stock counts and audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.Order Processing: Track and process stock orders, ensuring timely fulfilment of internal and customer orders.Reporting: Generate and review regular reports on stock levels, stock movement, and order status for management.Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers to manage stock deliveries, backorders, and product availability.Data Entry: Accurately input stock information into the system, ensuring real-time updates of stock levels.Improvement Initiatives: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline inventory management processes and improve stock efficiency.Qualifications & Skills:Education: Minimum of a high school diploma (Matric). A qualification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role.Skills:Strong organizational and time-management skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Personal Attributes:Reliable, responsible, and punctual.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
