Designation: Sr. Officer - HR and AdminBusiness Unit: MEAFunction: Human ResourcesLocation: South AfricaReporting to: Country Manager, South Africa and Senior Manager-HR, MEARole overview:South Africa is one of the highest contributing affiliates for the MEA region with a business size (FY 24-25 USD 22 Mn) and a team size of 51 employees. The job scope will include Recruitment, Joining and On-boarding, Payroll administration, Support for MPC budgeting, LRP, PMS, and ACR processes, Administration, etc.Overall Job Responsibilities:Recruitment: JD finalization and sourcing of CVs for job vacancies through local job portals, recruitment consultants, etc., and coordinate interviews. Offer discussion with candidates and closure of the same.Joining and Onboarding: Share all forms and load them on all systems, preparation and sign off of Employment Contract, IT credentials creation, IT assets handover, creation of business cards, prepare and manage Employee Personal File – online/offline, manage induction process and trainings.Benefits Administration: Medical insurance – liaising with Discovery Health; Pension fund – liaising between managing consultant (Garrun group) and Glenmark employees.Payroll: Oversee payroll process.Employee Policies: Manage and update Employee policy manual as per local regulations and practice.Employee Relations: Handle employee queries - IT issues/Aspire issues/employee grievances.ACR: Preparation and handover of ACR Letters.PMS: PMS-KRA setting/midyear/closure.Exits: Resignations - leave pay-outs and exit forms, remove from Pension and Discovery medical aid.Budgeting & LRP: Support in Annual MPC Budgeting and LRP process.HR MIS and Employee Database Management: Prepare and submit Monthly HR MIS.STAR Awards: Star Awards – personnel performance data.Desired Experience and Qualification:Education: Graduate, Specialized in HR DomainExperience: 2-3 years of relevant experienceKnowledge and Skills: Managing priorities, being analytical and data-driven, proactivity, and teamwork.Behavioural Attributes: Communication skills, ownership, and adaptability.
