MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Matric certificate/ equivalent N Diploma Mining or BSc will be an advantage Blasting Certificate recognized by the DMR Supervisory certificate Competent A and B Valid Driver's license Medically fit to work underground
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role 5 years mining experience Have knowledge and skill in applying the basic generic management principles and leading a team Understanding of safety requirements to operate the machine Ensure quality control and assurance Ensure production planning and control Root cause analysis expertise
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervise the production staff Over inspect that pre-use inspections and maintenance are done on mobile units. Monitoring and controlling the production process by allocating and managing resources to attain production targets. Check daily, weekly & monthly that the production process is caried out in accordance with the contract, legal requirements, work instructions & specifications. Maintain a safe work environment by correcting unsafe acts / condition, facilitating safety meetings, looking out for hazards and investigating accidents.
