Position: Head Guide Location: 5-Star Lodge, Limpopo, South Africa Role Overview: As Head Guide, you will oversee the guiding operations, ensuring all guests enjoy educational, safe, and immersive experiences in the heart of the African wilderness.
This role requires a blend of leadership, expertise in wildlife, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards in hospitality and conservation.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of professional guides, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork Conduct and supervise game drives, guided walks, and educational sessions for guests Ensure the safety, satisfaction, and well-being of guests at all times Educate guests on local ecosystems, flora, and fauna, promoting conservation awareness Collaborate with lodge management to maintain a cohesive, high-quality guest experience Qualifications and Experience: FGASA Level 3 or equivalent guiding certification Minimum of 5 years of guiding experience, with a background in luxury lodges preferred Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor junior guides Strong knowledge of conservation principles and local wildlife Valid driver's license and Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
