Shift Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Shift Supervisor to manage the full logistics and warehousing function of the Durban Branch.Responsibilities:Supervise 6 to 10 warehouse staff per shift.Discipline, motivate, communicate, train, and develop staff to optimize their performance.Ensure that deliveries are correct and on time; resolve problems efficiently and meet customer needs, such as COA process.Control damaged or expired stock, accurately record all results, and maintain up-to-date administration.Manage warehouse rotation, conduct cycle counts, and investigate stock count results.Ensure housekeeping and hygiene requirements are met: maintain a clean, tidy perimeter and neat display racks.Skills:Problem solving.Performance and staff management.Stock control.Computer literacy.Health and Safety.Customer Services.Warehouse Administration.Supervisory Skills.Discipline and time management.Organizing and planning.Qualifications:Matric.Relevant qualification would be preferable.3 years' experience in a similar role in FMCG.Driver's license.Robust understanding of warehousing.
