Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is searching for an experienced
Shift Leader
to join the team of a luxury hotel located in Sea Point. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for excellent guest experiences, with a focus on professionalism, efficiency and seamless service.

Responsibilities:
Ensure all guests are professionally checked in and out, providing efficient and courteous service.
Maintain high standards of personal service for both internal and external customers, as well as in public areas.
Assist in managing and controlling daily revenues, reporting any deviations or irregularities in revenue or VAT accruals.
Ensure adherence to Front Office policies, including front desk procedures, switchboard duties, and handling of incoming messages, mail, deliveries, and packages.
Handle guest queries related to bookings, in-house concerns, payments, and post-departure services.
Facilitate effective communication between the reception team and all operational departments.
Assist with the training and induction of new staff members and students as required.
Perform additional duties as requested by the Front Office Manager.
Requirements:
Grade 12
Certification in Hospitality/Tourism Management, Front Office Opertaions or relevant (advantage)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position within a luxury hotel environment.
Proficiency in hotel reservation systems and strong computer literacy.
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
Well-presented and well-groomed, reflecting the standards of a luxury hotel.
