We are currently hiring for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our SEO department. The successful applicant will be responsible for the ideation and implementation of strategies to ensure our client websites are achieving optimal organic search performance.
The position will require an individual with strong problem-solving skills, solid knowledge of current industry standards, trends, and best practices in SEO, as well as extensive experience with technical SEO tactics. The SEO Specialist will be expected to analyze data, diagnose issues and implement solutions that result in improved website performance.
Responsibilities:Utilize our suite of SEO tools to analyze/prioritize what needs to be worked onWork in WordPress websites (front & back end)Develop content/keyword/topic strategiesDevelop and optimize content silo structuresMerging of existing blog posts if/when neededUtilize AI to enhance current blog post and page contentOptimize Title TagsOptimize Meta DescriptionsOptimize InterlinksOptimize Outbound LinksOptimize Images (titles/alt descriptions)Optimize URL's as needed/create redirects as neededOptimize Local SEO strategies (Google Business Profile)Identify backend technical issues that can be listed out as recommendations and passed on to developers as neededKeep an active pulse on campaign keyword rankingsCheck Google Search Console for website performance issues and indexing issues on an on-going basisProvide thorough analysis of campaign progress and updates to our Customer Success ManagersIdentify and fix global site-wide front-end (WP/Elementor) issues on an ongoing basis
Optimizing copy for blogs and landing pages Performing ongoing keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunitiesResearching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO successIn depth knowledge of AHREFS & SEMRUSH for monitoring & optimizing website performanceStrong understanding of WordPressSolid understanding of ElementorExperience working with data analytics software such as Google Analytics & Google Search Console to track issues/errors/progress on SEO projectsKnowledgeable in link building strategies including outreach methods and content building strategies such as guest blogging or infographics creationAbility to identify common structural problems affecting page indexation on Google & Bing including canonicalization issues and duplicate content threatsExcellent written & verbal communication skills required to effectively report results and plan campaigns both internally & externally Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a team setting when neededAbility to adapt quickly with changes in technology trends and bring innovative ideas for improvements in organic rankings through technical optimizations alone is essential for this roleAbility to work in fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize and multi-taskExperience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs with sharp attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problemsAssist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed9:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday – Thursday (CST)9:00 am – 1:00 pm Fridays (CST)
