This person will be responsible for developing, communicating, and delivering visual concepts and strategies to promote our brand and product offering. The individual will be responsible for leading a team of creatives and will report directly to the Creative Director.We're looking for a great leader and team player, a person full of inspiration – who also knows how to inspire others. You will also train and coach our retail teams about visual merchandising.The role would be a creative one, whereby the candidate would need to present seasonal concepts and ideas for national rollout, whilst also managing the rollout thereof in our showrooms and retail stores. Collaborating closely with buyers and planners, you will also be working with the marketing team to understand the overall brand concept and promotional calendar.Main duties:Design and implement a creative merchandising strategy.Lead a Visual Merchandising team.Create impactful and exciting visual displays which showcase product, drive footfall, and revenue.Constantly focus on innovation and creativity to ensure fresh concepts in terms of shopfitting and visual displays.Initiate seasonal window concepts and in-store merchandising.Ensure alignment to the brand's marketing calendar and that all promotional and product themes are well highlighted and showcased in the store.Ensure themes are rolled out nationally and the various retail teams understand the seasonal concepts and are able to execute along with your guidance.Build effective working relationships with retail store management and staff to ensure the VM principles are maintained.Keep track of the performance of various styles of merchandise for the purpose of repositioning stock with the objective of improving sales of underperforming merchandise.Develop a budget for seasonal campaigns.Requirements:National Senior CertificateA relevant qualification (diploma or degree in visual and retail merchandising/retail management)Minimum of 5 years' experience within a retail and visual merchandising environment within a senior/similar role (preferably in the décor/design industry)Minimum 5 years' senior management experience, managing/coaching teams within the visual merchandising environment.Premium brand experience essential.A keen interest in décor and interior design.Broad knowledge of all trends and keeping up to date with future trends.A great eye for presenting our collections in an inspiring and commercial way.Behaviours essential:Good Communication SkillsResource planningEntrepreneurial thinkingProfessionalism & Business etiquetteDetail orientation & accuracyAssertiveness & driveProblem solvingDecision making & prioritisingAdaptability, tenacity, and determinationResilience to stressInfluence & impactContributing to Team successDeadline orientedThis role will require extensive travelling to our showrooms nationwide.We offer a market-related salary (with company benefits), depending on experience.If you are interested and fit the job profile, we would love to hear from you!Kindly forward your CV to ****** state in the subject line: National Visual Merchandise Manager
