Leading Client in the Technology Industry requires a Senior Support Engineer to join their team and provide 3rd line datacentre software support.

Responsibilities Assist with escalations from 2nd line support engineers Provide 3rd line datacentre software support Preventative maintenance (Patch management) Analysis and reporting on system health Architect new solutions Document implementations and provide SOPs Requirements Matric / Grade Tertiary Qualification - IT Certification / Diploma Degree Certification in either: MCSE, VCP, CCE, HPE (DC) (end User), DELL (DC) (end user), VMWare, VEAAM Min 7 years experience supporting ITC environments Must have Valid Drivers Licence and own reliable transport for business travel Technologies Cloud Services: Azure, AWS, Google cloud Virtualisation: VMware vSphere, MS Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV Citrix Virtualisation Application Delivery Controllers: F5, Citrix, FortiADC Operating Systems: All Microsoft & Linux MS infrastructure: Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, SCCM Backups: Veeam, Backup Exec Monitoring: N-Central, SCOM, PRTG, WhatsUp, Solarwinds, Nagios, Quest Antivirus: McAfee, ESET, Symantec, Kaspersky End User Computing Storage Area Network Networking
