Responsibilities Develop high-quality software systems that enhance engineering processes.
Collaborate with engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Perform software testing, troubleshooting, and debugging as necessary.
Maintain existing codebases while introducing improvements and optimizations.
Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate into solutions.
Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
Support project management and ensure timely delivery of software projects.
Advantage: Electronics Development Business Analysis Systems Engineering Product Architecture Process Engineering Experience with Automated Item Identification Technologies including barcoding, RFID and BLE Experience with software development for mobile solutions (XP Embedded, CE, Android, Apple IOS) Oracle experience IT project management skills Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience working through the design, development, release cycle, DevOps, delivering and support of software products to market with a successful delivery record Software development in the engineering industry Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Angular and SQL or Python.
Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
Strong understanding of software design patterns and architectures.
Experience with databases and data modeling.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.
A passion for innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
