RESPONSIBILITIES: Mechanical Engineer must work on all the product stages of Water Jetting Technology and Water Jetting Equipment. The product stages such as Research and Product Development to Design and Manufacture, through to Assembly and Installation then Final Commissioning of Water Jetting Equipment, Rigs and Trailers. The Mechanical Engineer needs to ensure that all equipment and systems work safely and efficiently and meet the clients and customers requirements. Design of Water Jetting Equipment, Rigs and Trailers on the current Computer Aided Design (CAD) which is Solid Works. Identifying any deficiencies in the equipment and systems, and then Developing design improvements. Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems. Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions. Presenting designs to directors, management teams and clients. Prepare Product Reports and all relevant documentation. Overseeing Standard Operating and other Procedures. Preparing documentation of critical analysis and failures and providing corrective actions. Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers Workshops etc Assessing various Project requirements. Estimating budgets and time scopes for each project. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or B Tech Degree. Alternative: National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer an advantage. Experience in Water Technology and Equipment an advantage. Experience working in the mechanical engineering field. (Minimum of 8 years) Any High-Pressure experience would be an added advantage. Superior computer skills, with solid experience in CAD, Solid Works. Ability to analyse test data. Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation. Highly analytical mind, with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
