Job ProfileStructural Engineer (Design) - 37.5 hours per week with flexible hybrid working - Northwest, Liverpool, Manchester/Warrington and surrounding areas.
A requirement has arisen for a Structural Engineer with experience in structural design to join a growing dynamic business in the North West design team. Reporting to the Associate Director, this role will be instrumental in the growth of the company and supporting the growth of the northern design team. The successful candidate will be passionate about digital technology and the benefits it brings to their profession. They actively encourage their staff to bring forward new, exciting ideas to help shape their future.
Duties: Delivering design calculations for buildings insurance claims, including subsidence, fire, impact, flooding and storm damageCompleting site visits for residential and commercial building projectsDelivering small to medium design projectsEnsuring that the team reaches the monthly sales targets by driving business developmentReporting to the Associate Director and providing progress reportsDeveloping new ideas to help shape the future of the businessAbout You: Good degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (essential)Proficiency in IT systems (essential)A general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete and timber (essential)MICE or MIStructE (desirable)Excellent work ethic, willing to go above and beyond to support the company growthPassionate about new technologies, progressive change and continuous improvementCar owner and UK driving licence, able to travel to siteAll aspects of Microsoft OfficeIndustry standard structural design software
