Job description: Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Bachelor's degree and Post Graduate Qualification in Commerce, Supply Chain Management or legal field
8+ years working experience of which at least five (5) years must be at management of senior consultant level within a SCM environment

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Manage the SCM function including development and implementation of strategies within budget whilst ensuring compliance
Improving the efficacy of acquisition
Ongoing review of organisational supply chain activities
Oversee procurement, logistics and bid administration processes
Oversee tender evaluation process and ensure adherence to legislative framework
Technical and administrative support to both internal and external stakeholders
Implement corrective measures
Run the SCM function with the ultimate objective of improving overall organisational performance

Salary: R1 285 000 – R1 900 000 per annum for contract duration.
