These jobs were popular with other job seekersThe largest private authorised financial service provider in South Africa, and registered Credit Provider, offering micro loans through 230 stores nation wide, require an Area Manager for East London and the metropolitan area,The main purpose of the job is to ensure the profitability of the stores, driving sales and improving collections, and ensuring Branch Managers and Staff are effectively trained and managed.The ideal candidate will currently be working in the retail industry, and could be a Senior Branch Manager in a furniture group or in a FMCG company. Most important are Skills in Management, Credit Granting, knowledge of the processes of short term loans, sales and selling skills.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccountable for managing assigned branchesConduct regular visits and reviews of branch performanceEnsure branches are profitable and exceed sales and collection targetsMonitor, measure and report on the performance of all assigned stores and ensure open communication between branches and head officeResponsible for recruitment , selection, onboarding, induction, performance management, coaching , discipline and adherence to all SOPs.Accountable for company policies and proceduresProvide a professional and friendly service to all internal and external customersDesired Experience & QualificationGrade 12 MatricMaths Literacy Certificate/Diploma in Micro Lending Frontline Service (NQF 4)Certificate/Diploma in Generic Management (NQF 5)Understanding of Credit granting processesBasic knowledge of the National Credit ActAt least 5 years experience in managing a teamMin 3 years experience in the Micro Finance industryComputer Literacy Valid Drivers's LicenseStrong human relations skillsAbility to plan and organisePackage & RemunerationA competitive remuneration package is provided plus:Accomodation for travellingService of vehicleVehicle insuranceTyresCar maintenance PetrolInterested?Send in up-to-date CVsHead & shoulders photoCertified copies of certificates & diplomasReasons for leaving previous companies.All applications must be in line within the contents of the requirements of the job.
