Company DescriptionCome and join this dedicated team as a Senior Manager Performance Reporting which is primarily responsible for ensuring the high quality of external and internal (Anglo American Platinum and Anglo American) performance reporting and for driving business performance by providing commercial and operational insight and effective management processes. The role involves a significant amount of senior level engagement and managing cross business issues/stakeholders to ensure results consolidation is prepared on a timely and accurate basis and that external performance reporting is of a consistently high standard for each reporting period (month end, interim and year-end).

Job DescriptionJob responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Maintain a clear understanding of external events which may impact business performance, e.g. competitor industry economics.Provide meaningful budgets, forecasts and scenarios, integrated with core business processes such as strategy and Life of Mine where appropriate.Act as an advocate and role model for understanding cost drivers and cost control.Foster best practice processes and sharing within the Performance Reporting team and wider Group.Provide valuable performance analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders on a timely basis.Provide integrated business performance management framework to ensure management understanding and regular review and challenge.Ensure key business performance risks, issues and opportunities are highlighted to management.Support delivery of the relevant sustainability activities on a Business Unit level.Input into cross-functional integration on sustainability.Contribute to building relationships with key stakeholders relevant to the discipline.Implement a purpose-driven, high-performing culture that is aligned with the company values, is inclusive and promotes diversity, supports engagement and fosters continuous improvement to work processes.Set clear and consistent expectations, encourage individuals and teams to challenge the status quo and strive for improvements; embed expectations through Team+ tool.Ensure individuals and team have the knowledge, skills, authorities and resources to deliver against expectations and accountability (time, people and budget).Hold individuals to account in line with their role authority and accountability structures.Ensure that systems, symbols and behaviours reinforce desired culture and align with Anglo American values.Ensure compliance of the discipline with external (legislative, regulatory, permitting) requirements.Ensure compliance of the discipline with Anglo American compliance requirements.Develop required compliance governance in the context of the discipline on a Business Unit level.QualificationsBCom Accounting or relevant financial degree/qualification.CA or CIMA qualification beneficial.Experience: Proven experience in a senior commercial/financial analysis and management role in a large mining/resources company.Analysis and benchmarking of financial/business data in a mining/heavy industry environment.Knowledge and Skills: Operations:

Commercial/business drivers in discipline, business performance variability and underlying causes that define subsequent actions.Basic financial metrics, cost and value management & budgeting tools.Applies investment valuation approaches and interprets findings and other information.Understands and applies relevant accounting principles, IFRS, policies and processes.Management:
Leadership tools for creating a culture of purpose–led high performance and change.Risk management techniques and critical controls.Applies project management techniques to manage large and complex projects and ensures changes are embedded into business as usual process.Compliance:
