An Senior Living Facility is seeking an experienced and compassionate General Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of care for elderly residents. The General Manager will lead various departments, manage a staff of around 55, and maintain close communication with the board of volunteers. Minimum Requirements:Management DegreeMedical Qualification (Highly Beneficial)Speak Italian / Or willingness to learn the Italian language within a yearProven leadership experience in healthcare, residential care, or hospitality sectorsKnowledge of geriatric care and healthcare regulationsStrong financial acumen with experience in budget management and fundraisingExperience in marketing and promoting servicesAbility to handle union-related mattersCompassionate and empathetic approach to resident careStrong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsDuties and Responsibilities:Oversee the operational management of the facility, including the medical department, catering, housekeeping, and administrationEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain high standards of care for residentsManage a team of 55 staff members, providing leadership, training, and supportDevelop and implement strategies to attract new residents and maintain the pipeline of potential residentsOversee the financial health of the facility, including budgeting and fundraising effortsBuild and maintain relationships with the Italian community and external partnersAddress union-related issues in collaboration with HR consultantsFoster a culture of transparency, inclusivity, and continuous improvement within the home
