Senior Finance Manager (FM Stellenbosch and Surrounds)Key Responsibilities:Financial Management:Oversee the full spectrum of financial management for multiple Pty Ltd entities, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, adhering to local regulations and group policies.Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support decision-making.Bookkeeping:Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all entities under management.Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for each entity and the group.Present financial data and analysis to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal financial controls.Budgeting & Forecasting:Lead the budgeting process for each entity, including variance analysis and reporting.Develop financial forecasts and track performance against budgeted targets.Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with the Head Office team based in Johannesburg, ensuring alignment and effective communication across the group.Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and support business objectives.Foster a collaborative working environment, despite the remote nature of the role.Additional Duties:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required by senior management.Requirements:Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape (or surrounding areas)Minimum Qualifications:BComm degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.Experience Requirements:Proven experience in Senior Finance roles.Strong proficiency in Excel, database management, and spreadsheets.Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage full bookkeeping and financial management responsibilities for multiple Pty Ltd entities within a larger group structure.Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently, with limited supervision, due to the remote nature of the role.Skills & Competencies:Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent proficiency in Excel and financial software.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams.Proactive problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
