Senior Field Service Engineer

An exciting opportunity has emerged for the Senior Field Service Engineer position at a renowned company that is at the forefront of robotics, automation, and motion, located in Modderfontein, Gauteng.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to generate, engineer and commission C&I projects in line with customer expectations and specifications.Provide continuous support to customers and exude understanding on client products.Execute preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance work on client control systems.Execute instrumentation service tasks such as calibration during plant outages.Responsible for not exceeding costs for C&I projects during engineering/execution.Liaises with other engineering personnel and disciplines to ensure that overall objectives for each project is achieved. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS: BSc Engineering degree or equivalent.Experience in Controls and Instrumentation in general.Experience in 800xA (operation, configuration and maintenance) for at least 4 years.Experience in Symphony Melody or equivalent control systems for at least 4 years.Experience in Power Generation/Water for at least 5 years.Specific Skill – Control Systems:Instrumentation (transmitters, control valves and actuators, analyzers, metering, etc.
