Applications Engineer (Mechanical Engineer)

Qualifications: B.Eng., BSc, or BTEC (National Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering or associated discipline.Experience: 0-1 years working in a related field in any of these industries (Automotive, Aerospace, Marine, Industrial engineering,) Skills: Knowledge in the use of CATIA or other similar 3D Design Software (Fusion 360, Solidworks, Inventor, CREO or similar)Should have a good understanding of the principles of PLMKnowledge of 2D Design and Drafting Software (GstarCAD, AutoCAD, Draftsight or similar)Must be well presented, articulate, able to identify client requirements, recommend and describe appropriate solutions within our software portfolios, and be comfortable liaising with client representatives at all levels.The Role includes recommendation, demonstration, provision, implementation, and Support of our software solutions.
Additionally training of clients in the use of the solutions.Other requirements will include working together with internal marketing to prepare and provide material and media, as well as technical demonstrations of features, to prospective and existing clients.
