Qualifications: B.Eng., BSc, or BTECh (National Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering or associated discipline.Experience: 3 to 5 years working in a related field in any of these industries (Automotive, Aerospace, Marine, Industrial engineering,) (I may consider less, dependant on what they were doing)Skills: Must be proficient in the use of CATIA or other similar 3D Design Software (Fusion 360, Solidworks, Inventor, CREO or similar)Should have a good understanding of the principles of PLMMust be proficient in the use of 2D Design and Drafting Software (GstarCAD, AutoCAD, Draftsight or similar)Must be well presented, articulate, able to identify client requirements, recommend and describe appropriate solutions within our software portfolios, and be comfortable liaising with client representatives at all levels.The Role includes recommendation, demonstration, provision, implementation, and Support of our software solutions.
Additionally training of clients in the use of the solutions.Other requirements will include working together with internal marketing to prepare and provide material and media, as well as technical demonstrations of features, to prospective and existing clients.Additional responsibilities will include:Managing junior applications engineers on day-to-day tasks,Overseeing task allocations to ensure deadlines are met and KPI's achieved.Scoping occasional client project requirementsOverseeing Helpdesk Ticketing system to ensure targets i.r.o.
query resolution are met.Some National, and occasional international travel is a requirement of this role.Candidates should possess, or be prepared to obtain, a valid passportCandidate must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19.Candidate must not have a criminal record.Candidate must have a full clean driver's licence and own reliable transport.
