Senior Electrical Engineer

As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will take a leading role in designing, developing, and optimizing electrical systems and equipment for various applications.
You will provide technical guidance to junior engineers, contribute to project planning, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer who is looking to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and growing company.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment.
Manage and mentor a team of junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
Develop and review engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, and test plans.
Perform electrical system analysis, simulations, and troubleshooting to optimize system performance and reliability.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, mechanical engineers, and clients, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
A Masters Degree or professional certification (e.g., Chartered Engineer) is a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background.
Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB) and simulation tools.
Extensive experience with electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment design.
Solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills: Experience with renewable energy systems (solar, wind, etc.)
or smart grid technologies.
Knowledge of SCADA systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.
Experience in the preparation of technical proposals and reports.
Advanced Degree in electrical engineering or a specialized area.
