A successful auditing firm based in Bedfordview is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper.Duties:Processing and reconciling cashbooksProcessing and reconciling customers and suppliersProcessing of payroll journals and other journalsRequirements:Understanding of accounting principlesExperience in all bookkeeping functions up to Balance SheetForex transactional understanding will be a sound advantageA good understanding of VAT is requiredA good understanding of payroll transactions types and the taxability thereofExperience in OID reporting and mid-year and year-end IRP5 processesMinimum of 8 years' experience in all bookkeeping functionsAuditing/Accounting Industry (Advantageous)Competencies:Attention to detailService orientedAbility to work under pressure, enjoys a challenge, is presentable and portrays a professional image at all timesComputer Literacy:MS Office (Outlook, Excel)Pastel AccountingSage One business accounting onlineXeroSage Pastel PayrollSARS E-filing
