Junior Cost Accountant - Howick

Responsibilities:Maintain and update cost accounting systems and procedures specific to manufacturing operationsAnalyse and allocate costs to various operationsConduct variance analysis to identify factors impacting production costsAnalyse inventory variances and implement corrective measures to optimize resource utilizationMonitor project costs and provide financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from planting to harvestEnsure all BOMs and costings relating to BOMs are maintainedWork together with Sales team to report on sales of stock and sales channelsWork together with Financial Manager to ensure Costing reports are accurate and on timeOwn the complete stock take processAssist the finance team with general finance functions such as creditors postings, retail recons, assistance with general ledger transactions and recons and any other reasonable requestRequirementsCIMA qualification is a prerequisite or B. Comm/equivalentMin 2 years of working experience in similar positions.
