Job OpportunityOur Client, established for 25 years, has a diverse range of service offerings primarily in the medical space. The ideal candidate will provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements and tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. They will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize tax strategies and minimize tax liabilities.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage full accounting and tax function portfolioProduce monthly management reportsFull accounting function to trial balanceDrafting of annual financial statements for companies, trusts, and sole proprietors on CaseWareProvide advice on all tax and accounting mattersMust have experience on e-filingMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlinesPrepare and submit income tax returns for individuals and companies, VAT returns for sole proprietors, companies, and trustsPrepare VAT returns for sole proprietors, companies, and trustsCompetent to attend to all SARS correspondenceFiling of notices of objections, and suspension of debt on e-filingConduct themselves in a professional mannerMust be willing to travel to clientsDesired Experience & QualificationAccounting Degree or Higher DiplomaCompleted ArticlesAffiliations to either SAICA, SAIPA, ACC, CIMA, and SAIBA are preferredWorking Pastel Experience and knowledgeKnowledge of CaseWareAt least 3 - 5 years' experience in an accounting environmentOwn Vehicle & valid driver's license is an inherent requirement
