Senior Accountant

Darling Romery, a dairy and juice factory in the Darling district, which is part of a larger group of Companies, is looking for a young dynamic and purposeful Senior Accountant. He/she will be part of their existing Financial team to cover all facets of the role.The suitable candidate must have the following:An appropriate post-school qualification i.e. SAICA, SAIPA, CIMAThree years experience (Post articles)Practical accounting experience including Tax calculations, Debtors, Creditors, as well as compliance with all statutory requirements (VAT / PAYE)Advanced computer skills (e.g., Sage X3, Pastel, MS Office, etc.)Good communication skillsGood planning, organising, and general management skillsExcellent administrative skills. Neat, organised, and accurateFigure-oriented and problem-solving skillsProactive approach in the execution of tasksCost awareness at all timesWilling to go the extra mile, willing to work long hours, be deadline driven.
