The Salon Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the salon, ensuring the highest level of customer service, and maintaining a motivated, professional team. The role includes managing staff, scheduling, inventory management and expense tracking.Ours is a Salon with a difference, and we are looking for someone who embraces and enjoys working with both the elderly as well as the community at large. Our brand new and modern on-site salon is an integral part of our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents and the community by offering them a space for relaxation, grooming, and social interaction.

Role and Responsibilities Operational Management:Oversee daily salon operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioningImplement and maintain salon policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standardsTrack and report on sales and expensesStaff Supervision Management of salon staff, including but not limited to:leave approvaldaily supervisionperformance managementdisciplinary managementtraining/mentoringCreate and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverageConduct performance reviews and provide feedback and coachingAddress staff issues and mediate conflicts as necessaryEnsure space and resources are well maintainedCustomer Service: Ensure that all staff exhibit a culture of care, respect and upholding the dignity of residents and clientsEnsure exceptional customer service is provided by all staffHandle customer and resident feedback and resolve issues promptlyMonitor customer feedback and make improvements as neededBuild and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and staffStay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry to continually enhance service offeringsInventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and manage stock orderingEnsure all products and equipment are well-maintained and in good conditionNegotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing Qualifications and Education RequirementsMatricDegree in cosmetology, or a related field preferredMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a salon or spa environmentPrevious managerial experience is strongly preferredPrevious experience working with the aged populationPreferred Skills · Strong leadership ability· Patient
