The main purpose of this position is to play a crucial role in supporting the sales and presale teams. Your responsibilities will include administrative tasks, assisting with sales and marketing campaigns, and contributing to business growth.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES): Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the sales and marketing teams.Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare documents and presentations.Keep records organized and up-to-date.Take accurate and timely meeting minutes.Manage Sales Force/Forecast accuracy for existing and new orders, together with Client Services Department.Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.Participate in marketing initiatives.Contribute to content creation.Collaborate with the sales team on lead generation.Conduct customer research and market analysis.Support in interpreting and analyzing research.Help maintain client relationships.Bring innovative solutions and ideas to ensure continuous improvement.Illustrate curiosity in new trends.To ensure that job goals are completed by striving for Quality, Trust and Security at all times.
To be considered for this role under the "Yes4Youth" Learnership program, the following requirements are non-negotiable:
Ideal candidates should be unemployed at the time of contracting.Must qualify as Youth candidates and therefore must be between the age of 18 – 34 (Must not be turning 35 during the program).Must meet the definition of "Black People," as defined in the Broad-Based Black Empowerment Act 53 of 2003, as amended by Act 46 of 2013.Must not have previously participated in a "Yes4Youth" program.MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:Degree or post qualification in Business Management, Marketing/Sales and/or related field.
Have a completed Matric with at least 60% in English, 60% Mathematics OR 60% Maths Literacy.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 1-2 years or more professional Sales experience or in a similar role.
Be a "hunter" – actively seek out opportunities and identify potential business prospects.
