Salary: Band 3 (£25,468 - £27,486) plus unsocial hours enhancement2 x Secondments - 1 x 12 months and 1 x 6 monthsWest Region is currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to work within the Resource Planning Team, based at Motherwell.The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective planning and maintenance of staff rosters, providing a high level of administrative support to ensure the most effective utilisation of resources.You will be able to evidence excellent communication and organisational skills, a logical and methodical approach to problem solving and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft applications, including Excel, is required to operate department systems and databases. A flexible approach to work is essential as post holders will provide a resource planning function across a wide and varied geographical area and undertake unsocial hours, including weekends.You will be required, on occasions, to deal with sensitive information and therefore post holders must have an awareness of the Data Protection Act and a high degree of professional integrity.Please note that the structure and operational working hours of the Resource Planning department is currently under review.Informal enquiries may be made to Karen McCabe, Resource Planning Supervisor, at ****** Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you would be paid, until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
