As the Assistant Resident Manager, you will support the Resident Manager and be responsible and accountable for overseeing all aspects of the Lodge with the focus on Rooms Division including the maintenance thereof with a hands-on approach and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. You will lead a dedicated team and work closely with the management team to enhance guest satisfaction. Your exceptional administration skills, Opera Cloud understanding and customer-focused approach will be crucial in achieving our goals and maintaining its reputation as a premier destination.
Key Responsibilities
:
Align with the strategic direction and vision for the Lodge, aligning it with company objectives.
Oversee daily operations, focussing on reservations , front office, housekeeping, maintenance and Spa.
In conjunction with the Resident Manager , develop and implement effective strategies to optimize revenue generation, occupancy rates, and overall profitability.
Foster a positive work environment and lead a diverse team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and business partners to enhance the Lodge's reputation and drive customer loyalty.
Monitor guest feedback and take proactive measures to address any issues, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for all guests.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
Relief the Resident Manager when he is off duty
Ensure full compliance with Hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
Performs daily, weekly, and monthly property inspections.
All Other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Management.
Qualifications and Requirements
:
Minimum of 3 years of experience Assistant General Manager , with at least 3 years in a leadership role in Rooms Division Department.
Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Sound knowledge of hotel financials, revenue management, and budgeting.
Proficient in industry-specific software and systems namely Opera Cloud
