Reservations Manager

Candidate Requirements: Grade 12Must have 3-5 years of experience in reservations within the hospitality industryKnowledge and hands-on experience of PAN Hospitality software preferredMicrosoft Excel proficiency is advantageousMust have excellent communication skills in English (Written and Verbal)Should have strong organizational and time management skillsMust have the ability to work independently and as part of a teamShould be willing to work in a remote, lodge-based settingMust have excellent customer service skillsDuties:Managing the reservations process from start to finishEnsuring that lodge accommodations and experiences are sold in a way that maximises revenue whilst exceeding guest expectationsBuilding relationships with tour operators and travel advisors by providing accurate, detailed information that serves their guests in a timely mannerOptimising conversion rates of enquiries into bookingsDeveloping bespoke itineraries for VIPs and themed tripsOverseeing dissemination of correct rates and booking terms and conditions on online platformsRegular reporting on sales, income due, new business, enquiries and booking releasesGeneral office and administrative duties related to the smooth running of the reservations officeThis is a live-in position (live-out if candidates are based in Graaf Reinet)
