Supervisor Shift Load Out- Mining, EE 29 km from Kathu, Northern Cape, South Africa Experience: 8 years| Qualification: NQF 4 in First Line Supervision Preference will be given to women in mining and designated groups in accordance with the Company's Employment Equity Plan.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: To plan and organize shift resources and efficient utilization of loading equipment to ensure effective execution of load out processes to achieve agreed targets, which includes but is not limited to: -Operations supervision -Contractor management -Budget and cost control -People supervision -People leadership -Continuous improvement -SHERQ adherence and compliance in own area of work -Work Ethics QUALIFICATIONS -Grade 12 -Programme in First Line Management (Recommended) -Certificate / Qualification in First Line Supervision (NQF level 4 - 150 credits) EXPERIENCE -Minimum of five (5) years operational Senior Process Controller- Load Out experience (Automated productions plant, preference to Iron Ore) and Rail involvement -Minimum of three (3) year's Team / Project leader / Supervisor experience in a mining production environment, relieving experience as well as experience in Rails KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES -Computer literacy( Intermediate user of JDE, Excel, Word MES and Scada) -Functional Knowledge -Diagnostic -Management -Systems -SHERQ knowledge -Legislation -SHERQ Skills -Adapting and responding to change -Adhering to principles and values -Coping with pressure and setbacks -Leading and supervising -Planning and organising -Working with people -Achieving personal work goals and objectives -Creating and Innovation -Deciding and initiating action -Leadership identity OTHER REQUIREMENTS -Meet required medical fitness standards -Drivers license Valid Code EB driver's license TERMS & CONDITIONS The candidate will be appointed on the condition of being certified medically fit as per Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996.
