Responsible for Markets: East Africa & Indian Ocean Islands SalesPurpose: To develop strategies and implement action plans to maximize profit and grow the business across the responsible markets.Minimum Requirements:5 Years liquor related experience in sales, marketing and brand development (wine and spirits)Degree in Commerce/Marketing/Finance or similar business related qualificationExperience in international markets (preferably East African markets)A good grounding in key account management and category managementExcellent and professional English verbal and written communication skillsExperience in developing sustainable businesses throughout primary and secondary routes to market.Experience in development of trade marketing strategies; brand building and marketing execution essentialSkills Required:Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, planning and organizing skillsStrong commercial and financial acumenGood interpersonal skills and strong team playerAbility to communicate with international clientsIn-depth knowledge and understanding of international FMCG marketsSkills in preparing and delivering professional reports and presentationsJob Summary:Determine the strategic direction for the business areas and implement tactical plans to ensure annual sales and profit objectivesAchievement of sales and profit plans and targets by effective implementation of sales/trading strategiesDrive innovative programs designed to achieve new business growth, market differentiation and securing a leadership position on an international platformDrive operational and supply chain efficiencies of the business, ensuring transaction costs are minimized and efficiency is maximized through the development of effective value chains and routes to marketEnsure robust systems are in place in order to effectively manage the businessEnsure the development and continuous management and improvement of effective channels and touch-points to the markets and customersDevelop co-operative and effective relationships with internal support departments and functions throughout the businessDevelop co-operative and effective relationships with customers, distributors and key external stakeholders, responsible for the implementation of regional plans and achievement of targetsFoster outstanding customer service. Ensure that the customers/consumers demands are met and relevant business opportunities are explored and implementedEffective execution of in-market marketing plans grounded in consumer insights; Management and development of trade marketing elements & concepts.Effective management of the S&OP process; accurate export forecasting, forecasting monthly sales and in-market stocks, advertising and promotional requirementsAccountable for regional income statement of assigned countries to trading profit levelRegular international travel into responsible markets
